Oscars 2025 Best Picture nominations

After two delays resulting from the Los Angeles wildfires, the 2025 Oscar nominations were finally announced on Thursday morning. Bowen Yang (“Wicked”) and Rachel Sennott (“Bottoms”) read off the list from the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills — hours before Yang had to jet back to New York to continue rehearsing “Saturday Night Live” with Best Actor nominee and this weekend’s host/musical performer Timothée Chalamet. “Emilia Pérez” led the pack with the most nominations with 13. It set the record for the most-nominated non-English language film.
